A call for ideas to debate complex health management topics
EHMA is pleased to launch a call for ideas for the EHMA PIE, a new initiative EHMA is launching to debate complex health management topics during this year’s annual conference on 15-17 September 2021.
PIE stands for Provocative, Innovative and Encouraging and it is designed to give space to high-level discussions and to stimulate the connections across the entire health management ecosystem. EHMA Annual Conference has always been a place to connect health managers, researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers and, more than ever, this new initiative is essential to foster connections and support health systems.
The proposals do not need to include research results, but can based on experiences that are highlighting, on new hypotheses, or new ambitious ideas. They can be submitted under the overall Conference theme, Health Management: managing the present and shaping the future, and within one of the 6 sub-themes:
- Governance and leadership
- Person-centeredness and care integration
- Managing the digital transformation
- Improving healthcare access and outcomes
- Environmental sustainability of health services
- Health workforce
All the ideas submitted will be presented and discussed during EHMA 2021 and they will be collected in a virtual book and made available on the conference’s website, platform and social media.
